So Duels will still be alright then I guess <3 Still having hopes for Quake, but I think it's too early for hype :)

Sounds like a really bad decision. Even though its only available for custom games it is still a potentially devastating split of the player base.

I think it's either split community, or "fuck off" to duelers.

I don't see how champions can integrate fairly into duel. I mean only way for this to be fair if both players are playing same champion. Which kills the purpose of champions, therefore they should be disabled in duel.

Or... you know... just wait until they announce how duel works in this game (I have no idea so don't bother asking me).

Well yea, I'm just guessing, but I imagine it not that different from what we are use to see.

But anyway, so far ID's announcements are pretty inconsistent. And whole PR seems pretty scrappy.

I imagine there are a number of ways to try and balance champions in duel. Only a subset being available on different maps, ban/pick variant, modified charge time for active ability, same champions must be used in one match (a set of 3-5 maps) etc.
