Xonotic 0.8.1 release
New version was released three days ago. Here's a short version of the changelog highlights:
-New default maps: Atelier, Final Rage, Warfare
-New HUD and menu theme
-Item timers for spectators/warmup
-Support for 3 & 4-way CTF added, you can play CTF with 3-4 teams on maps with 3-4 bases
-Gametype vote screen added, shows up after a match is over
If you already have Xonotic, here's a quick update gimmick:
-Go to Xonotic installation folder, misc/tools/rsync-updater folder
-Execute the update-to-release.sh (for Linux or Mac) or update-to-release.bat (for Windows) and wait for it to complete
-Done!

This is just on spec and warmup? I thought they had gone and stuck it in the game as default and I wondered why nobody was kicking up a stink
