Quake Week Summary July 30-August 5

The most important event in Quake Champions for past week was the release of new update, which included a new champion, the Death Knight, a lot of HUD features, and game fixes. Additionally, players can now also purchase the "eSports Showdown Bundle", which includes a new skin for Gauntlet called the Redeemer from Quake 4, as well as in-game loot.
The fourth edition of Quake Open League ended at the weekends bringing with it some unexpected results. In North American Elite finals psygib managed to beat DaHanG in thrilling 3:2 match. It's the QOL title in a row for psygibas he won the Challenger Division of third season of Quake Open League approximately a month ago. The European Elite division has been won by cYpheR.
The biggest Quake LAN, QuakeCon 2018, is going to start this week! Most of European players already boot camping in the United States to avoid a jet lag on for the main tournament and to also prepare themselves better by practicing the American players.
