Rising: Quake is getting bigger in Hungary
A Quake Champions LAN called QuakeRising will be held between October 20-21, 2018 in Budapest, Hungary at the MondoCon PC Guru. The event will featuring duel and 2V2 tournaments.
Rising Challenge became the number one Heroes of the Storm competition in Hungary and was created by Tamas "Westen" Aranyi. Its goal is to give birth to competitive gamers and this year it has expanded into Quake Champions with the help of Zoltan "superr0x" Zsigri. Thanks to PC Guru, Hungarys largest gaming magazine, Tamas and Zoltan have the opportunity to hold both the HotS and Quake Champions tournament finals at MondoCon, a gaming convention that attracts more than 20,000 people.
The Quake Champions tournament will have two online duel and 2V2 qualifications and one offline qualification, with the top four teams and players getting a chance to play in the grand finals. The prize pool for both, duel and 2v2, tournament is 150,000 Ft (approximately 500 EUR) plus gamer peripherals and trophies, medals.
If you come to Budapest during that period, come to the venue and register for the offline qualifiers via toornament. The tournament is free enter, but MondoCon has a 4000 Ft entry fee (10 EUR).
There tournament will be streamted via Quake Champions Hungary.
