From Reborn to Diabotical.. opinions?
Surely there have been game titles with even more ridiculous names, for example "Summer-Colored High School ★ Adolescent Record - A Summer At School On An Island Where I Contemplate How The First Day After I Transferred, I Ran Into A Childhood Friend And Was Forced To Join The Journalism Club Where While My Days As A Paparazzi Kid With Great Scoops Made Me Rather Popular Among The Girls, But Strangely My Camera Is Full Of Panty Shots, And Where My Candid Romance Is Going.", but diabotical just has a silly ring to it.
I think Reborn still sounds better as an FPS title.

I hated Diabotical at first. The name has grown on me since.
Doom, Quake, Heretic and Rage are probably my favourite names. They are punchy and visceral.
Anyway, there has been a million of different ideas about the name and diabotical is simply the worst of them
edit: Oh the thread was about the name change. Makes no difference to me because I'm not playing it.
"Diabolical is such a bad name for different reasons. First of all it takes ages to pronounce. In my opinion the game should have an easy name to remember with few syllables. Second of all it kind of sound like something a teenager would come up with, trying his hardest to think of a “cool†name, giving it a kind of childish feel, but that’s not the main problem. The real problem is that it doesn’t suit the style of the game at all! From the concept art we’ve been shown so far, the style looks kind of cartoonish or “neutral†at least. With a name like Diabolical you would expect a hellish atmosphere, like some of the original Quake 3 maps. It just doesn’t fit. Reborn was so much better. Easier to pronounce, feels more true to the concept and doesn’t feel “tryhard†cool."
Then Noctis pointed out that the name in fact is Diabotical, but my points still stand, as the game plays on the word diabolical. Reborn wasn't super good, but it was far better than this.

Sounds like a good game concept.
