Closed Beta Series Final! (1500$ prise pool)
So. Today is the day.
Shit just got serious. This is the first relatively big cash cup in DB.
the steam will be here:
DirtyCups Twitch
cup will start at 10:00 PDT / 13:00 EDT / 18:00 BST / 19:00 CEST
it is a 8-teams final.
In order to get a foretaste of competitive scene numbers in DB one can see this table:
Teams' stats
there were 4 cups since may. (excluding two test cups, that helped to find better rules for comp matches - merc restrictions etc)
and there were total 30 team taking part in all the cups.
i find it not a bad thing for a 2 month long open beta!
Anyway have all fun watching. it is going to be intense!
my bets go on ZFZ, guys who didnt play this game for a _long time_ (like most other top teams) and nevertheless maganed to put a great fight to PkD (current best team)
some details can be found here:

Nice to see them starting to form a scene
Wasn't too bad, I suppose the casters are still learning and devs still figuring out what's the best way to deliver the matches. More flycam and bigger radar with all players would be nice for starters. At the moment it felt really chaotic at times and felt like casters were missing the action too much.
Imho this more a positive thing, than negative. I mean no one can spam turrets mid-fight on you. you have plenty of time to kill Bush, and knife turret before it starts pissing. But when the turret is in its place already it is an area-denial tool, that just changes the aproach you have to use to get there.
Nader is much weaker than Fragger (and there will be another tank-merc - Thunder), so no nerf in the damage i expect, but a nerf to his spam is possible.
Spectator mode, is one of their priorities, as they state. They want to make the game not only playable but also spectacular.
But it's still in beta :)
