Russian veteran Pavel “pavel” Fomkin remains one of the most consistent competitors in the 250 FPS League. Now playing his third consecutive season, he has repeatedly secured high placements — including a bronze medal finish last time, behind only cYpheR and AGENT. Known for his tactical approach and discipline, Pavel once again aims to surprise his rivals.

The interview was originally published in the icon_telegram official 250 FPS League Telegram channel.

Reflecting on his three defeats this season — against AGENT, k1llsen and Spart1epavel admitted:
I really regret losing to Spart1e and k1llsen — I should have beaten them, but it just wasn’t my day. Against AGENT, I couldn’t stop him at the start of the maps, so the score got out of hand. Only on Lost World I managed to fight back.

Looking ahead to upcoming matches against ash, cYpheR, dazator and Sib_Vassek, his mindset remains clear:
My goal is only top-4. I’ll grind and do what I can. I’m not a frag-machine like dazator, but I have my own tricks.

When asked whether the league feels tougher this season, he pointed out the overall rise in competition:
Opponents have really stepped up and are practicing more. Right now, I don’t have the same opportunity.

As for who he’d like to see in future seasons, pavel didn’t hesitate:
I think rapha will join next time — I played some practice with him, and he’s definitely not weak. I’d also love to see baSe. Sasha, jump in! Stop living peacefully — there’s plenty of emotions here.

Pavel’s current setup:
  • Mouse: Razer Viper Mini
  • Headset: Havit
  • Mousepad: “Don’t remember 😅”
