Reflex Arena has received update 1.3.0 (“Reflex Reloaded”) on Steam, reintroducing matchmaking and adding a batch of quality-of-life changes. It’s also the first major update for the game since March 2018.

Highlights of the update:
  • Matchmaking is back, with a refreshed matchmaking screen and MMR display, plus official servers listed as EU Central / US West / US East. The notes also mention one-click matchmaking with skill-matched bots (optional).
  • A set of menu + onboarding tweaks (training entry on the home screen, smoother training flow, server favorites, browser sorting memory).
  • Game + rendering QoL, including weapon zoom, scrollable chat, borderless windowed, monitor selection, and improved alt-tab behavior.
  • Engine work, including a 32-bit → 64-bit upgrade, updated dependencies, and a new crash reporter / matchmaking backend.
The developer also says the game is planned to go free-to-play “soon”.
