New Blood Run build updates respawns and multiple maps
New build (2026-02-18) has been released for Blood Run. The update’s main change is the switch of all maps to the “cool” respawn selection scheme. Under this system, the game takes the three farthest spawn points from the enemy model at the moment of respawn and randomly picks one of them. Spawn point parameters were also adjusted to better match Quake Champions settings and to improve distribution and redundancy on some maps.

Map changes:
- Corruption
- Statue head clipping adjusted (the back plane is now narrower)
- The MH area “shawarma tent” theme replaced with an industrial look (pipes)
- dm7 (Deep Embrace remake)
- New/adjusted textures added to support the ongoing visual pass in several areas

- Mega teleporter moved closer to the wall
- Added the ability to jump onto the edge of the “pipe” (the drop exit from Mega)
- Quad teleporter base height reduced by half (teleport position unchanged)
- Excessive brightness in lighting removed
- Venom
- Upper YA spawn moved behind the column to remove a direct line
- Added one new spawn near the exit from the RL teleporter
- 3x5hp spawn moved into the corner
- Tribolt position slightly adjusted toward the teleporter exit
- Totem placement blocked in the niche above the 3x5hp meds and in the gap between the crates and the wall near upper YA

- Muzzle flash position aligned with the turret model barrel
