Quake Live LAN in Stuttgart has ended
The Quake Live LAN in Stuttgart has come to an end. The event was held in Waiblingen, Germany, where the final day decided the winner of the Capture the Flag 5v5 tournament. Seven teams first played a group stage, which determined the four teams that advanced to the playoff bracket. The tournament was won by Rapid Escape Division, whose lineup was Needy, PYTON, Manty, jcb and Wallsnag.
For Wallsnag, it was a second straight win in the LAN’s CTF event after also taking first place last year. For Needy, it was a second title at the same LAN, following his win in the duel tournament.
Final standings:
Rapid Escape Division ( Needy, PYTON, Manty, jcb, Wallsnag) – 600 EUR + 3 Artisan pads for each player
BiWinning ( Spart1e, luminus, Grandbolus, Knetic, Janti) – 300 EUR + 2 Artisan pads for each player
FlagOut ( ani, Osnart, ioRekk, Fizzy, eDDi) – 100 EUR + 1 Artisan pad for each player
