DreamHack Denver Quake Champions event details revealed
This year's DreamHack Denver will include Quake Champions Duel and Sacrifice tournaments. The total prize pool for both tournaments will be 75,000 USD, with qualifiers starting on September 23, 2017. Each qualifier will be broadcast live from studio in Stockholm, Sweden. The main event is going to take a place on October 20-22, 2017.
Duel Tournament
The Duel tournament will feature for 16 players, with eight players receiving direct invites based on their peformance Quake World Championships and availability.

Sacrifice Tournament
The Sacrifice tournament will feature four teams, two from each region, who will fight for DreamHack Denver trophy in double elimination bracket. Seeds will be determined on performance of individual qualifier.

Also:
Invited players will be placed randomly into groups occupying the top two seeds in each group. Qualified players will be randomly seeded into the four groups.
So if Cypher and Cooller qualify we could see a group consisting of Rapha Vo0 Cypher Cooller...
Also, my point still stands, their method of seeding and drawing groups could turn into unbalanced groups. I would prefer to have them reseed everyone after the qualifiers are played, perhaps based on the plusforward rankings.
