Promoders have another event to look forward to as dr0 recently announced his CPMA World Duel Cup. The event will be a single-elimination bracket featuring a very familiar map pool, and this will hopefully draw some familiar names. To kick things off, dr0 has created a short video to help people get into the spirit of things. The event is scheduled for 17:00 UTC, 17 Dec 2016. Mandatory check-in will begin one hour prior to the event, or at 16:00 UTC, 17 Dec 2016.
*Please note that these are maps have had slight aesthetic modifications, chiefly the addition of advertisements, and that there are no game-play changes.
At the start of every game, the players must callvote a coin-toss (cv random 2h/t). The winner of the coin-toss gets to pick the server, and the loser gets to pick the map.
For game two, the person who won the coin-toss (and picked the server for game one), now gets to pick the map, and the person who lost the coin-toss (and picked the map for game one), gets to pick the map.
If a third map is required. Players must callvote another coin-toss, and the follow the same routine i.e. Winner gets to pick the server, and loser gets to pick the map.
