Enemy model shouldn't really matter if the models are still visible and the hitboxes are the same. It is 2017, so I can understand why they would do this. They will obviously aim for modern graphics.
We are used to these tiny little things, but in reality they don't really affect the game much. People should just suck it up and get used to it.
(And at the end of the day, the game isn't released yet, so reserve judgement)
