k1llsen reached the final through the upper bracket, beating creeep_06487, klyb and Artemka without dropping a map before a 2:1 victory over Coffee by Tomo in the Winners Final. dramiS, meanwhile, had lost 0:2 to Artemka in the opening round, but recovered with six straight lower-bracket wins, including a revenge victory over Artemka, before beating Thri11er and Coffee by Tomo to reach the final.
k1llsen closed out the tournament with a 3:1 win over dramiS to take the $40 first prize, with the runner-up earning $10. The result follows his EGB QC Cup #13 victory one week earlier.
