phaze won the EGB QC Cup #12, defeating Keltz 3:0 in the Grand Final. phaze reached the final through the upper bracket, beating k1llsen and Keltz along the way. Keltz returned after defeating k1llsen in the Lower Bracket Final, but lost the rematch. k1llsen finished third.

The victory is phaze's first EGB QC Cup title. He previously finished third at Tournament #1. phaze also becomes the fourth different winner of the Quake Champions Duel series after k1llsen, Keltz and Strongsage.
