maxter reached the Winners Final without dropping a map, including a 2:0 victory over Thri11er, before beating Keltz 2:1 to secure his place in the Grand Final. As the upper-bracket winner, maxter entered the final with a one-map advantage.
Keltz returned through the lower bracket after beating Yup 2:1 in the Lower Bracket Final. maxter then closed out the rematch with a 3:2 overall score to take the $50 first prize. Keltz finished second for $30, while Yup took third and $20.
It is maxter's second NAQCL title in the last three editions, following his victory at #78. Tournament #79 was won by k1llsen.
