cYpheR wins EGB Cup #68 after two consecutive runner-up finishes
After two consecutive runner-up finishes, cYpheR has won the EGB Cup #68. He completed the tournament without losing a series and defeated k1llsen 3:0 in the Grand Final.
cYpheR started with a 2:0 victory over ant1, then beat Spart1e 2:1 in the semifinals. In the Upper Bracket Final, he defeated ash 2:0 to secure his place in the title match. k1llsen, meanwhile, recovered from a 0:2 loss to ash by winning three consecutive lower-bracket matches against LOKOMOTIV, Spart1e and finally ash.
The victory comes after cYpheR finished second to AGENT at both EGB Cup #66 and EGB Cup #67. #68 was the final regular Quake Live Duel event before the EGB Cup Final #3, which will be played on 19th September 2026 with a $500 prize pool.
